TRANSCONNECT Across Europe: Growing Visibility of the CIVICA Research Hub
Since its launch in January 2026, the CIVICA Research Hub TRANSCONNECT has been gaining visibility across the European academic and policy landscape. The Hub has been featured not only on the central CIVICA platform but also across the websites, research centres, project repositories, and communication channels of partner institutions, demonstrating the growing recognition of TRANSCONNECT as a collaborative European initiative on migration and integration governance. TRANSCONNECT has been highlighted by:
- CIVICA announced four winners of the call for CIVICA Research Hub and presented the TRANSCONNECT Hub
- SGH Warsaw School of Economics announced its role as coordinator of the Hub and presented its long-term research agenda focused on transconnectivity and multilevel migration governance
- Central European University introduced TRANSCONNECT as one of the new CIVICA Research Hubs and highlighted its participation in the initiative. TRANSCONNECT has also gained visibility through the CEU Democracy Institute project page and a thematic article.
- Stockholm School of Economics hosts a dedicated research page presenting the Hub and its conceptual contribution through the notion of transconnectivity.
- SNSPA featured TRANSCONNECT among the first CIVICA Research Hubs selected under the alliance’s inaugural call and in its newsletter.
- At the European University Institute (EUI), TRANSCONNECT is featured through a dedicated research project page highlighting the Hub’s focus
