Dr Marta Pachocka (SGH Warsaw School of Economics) participated in the 23rd IMISCOE Annual Conference from 29 June to 1 July 2026 as part of the dissemination of the results of the CIVICA Research Hub TRANSCONNECT. The conference, organised by the IMISCOE research network and the Migratory Movements Research Group at the University of Girona, took place from 29 June to 2 July 2026. During the conference, Dr Pachocka co-organised and chaired, together with Professor Peter Scholten, the roundtable discussion “Methodologies in Researching Migration in Local Contexts.” She also participated as a speaker in the sessions “SC FMR Special Session: Forced Displacement and Local Migration Governance: How to Promote Sustainable Policy Solutions?” and “The Politicisation of Migration and the Role of Academia.” In addition, she once again served as a member of the jury for the Rinus Penninx Best Paper Award 2026.
